The remote reading activation campaign continues with our MiDoMet Wired devices on large users, i.e. those who record water consumption above a certain volume.

MiDomet is connected directly to the meter via its pulse emitter, and is immediately operational as it is a Plug&Play device, and remains in operation for up to 10 years, self-powered, without the need for additional energy sources.

The MiDo system, thanks to its open protocol, was interfaced directly with the management systems of the supplying company, in order to integrate the reading data with the internal billing system.

The system was completed by the MiDoSoft Cloud for management which allows access by end users in order to improve the service, giving the user the possibility of being alerted in case of malfunctions or losses, but above all to be able to control one's consumption and encourage him to make more economical use of the resource. It is proven that thanks to remote reading various advantages are obtained including:

- Reduction of management costs

- Real time control of the volumes dispensed

- Avoidance of visit by reading staff

- Billing based on real consumption

- Timely detection of shortages and losses
